"As
you are aware, the City of Santa Fe's Data network had
been suffering from various problems such as name resolution
issues, IP conflicts, loops, etc. As of June 29, I was
happy to hear from Abe that our network is stable. I
would like to take this opportunity to thank you and
all of the staff at Computer Assets for your diligent
work in helping us to get to this point. Computer Assets
not only took on the difficult task of helping us stabilize
our network, but also helped us set up the services
such as Sonic Firewall, WINS and DHCP. Now that we have
a stable network, we can begin the process of planning
and implementing upgrades to the data network, we can
begin the process of planning and implementing upgrades
to the data network and telephone system through Avaya.
The City of Santa Fe's MIS staff also looks forward
to working with the Computer Assets Team during the
implementation of these of these upgrades.
